TL;DR

Annual base salary: $95,700–$199,300

What you will do

  • Lead the integration and end-to-end design of electrical power systems for data center reference designs, from medium- and low-voltage switchgear through IT rack-level distribution.
  • Design and validate integrated electrical and cooling systems, including racks, power distribution, CDUs, and chillers.
  • Provide expertise on UPS systems, generators, PDUs, static transfer switches, and electrical power monitoring systems.
  • Drive proof-of-concept projects and validation of new power architectures, including 800VDC.
  • Address power transients from AI workloads, arc flash hazards, and coordination between IT and facilities teams.
  • Develop partnerships with electrical equipment manufacturers, mentor engineers, and collaborate on optimizing system-level PUE.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 7–10 years of electrical engineering experience with a current focus on electrical and power systems for data centers.
  • Significant experience designing power systems for data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
  • Experience with data center power standards and high-voltage DC trends.
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment serving mission-critical customers.
