Backend Developer (Java Spring Boot)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and REST APIs in event-driven environments.
• Build backend solutions with Java 21/25 and Spring Boot 3/4.
• Develop messaging-based integrations using Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Solace, Kafka, or similar technologies.
• Design reliable integrations between internal and external systems and document them with Swagger and OpenAPI.
• Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design decisions, and agile collaboration.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and system integrations.
• Experience with Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Liquibase, GCP services, Git, GitLab CI/CD, resilience patterns, Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID, Swagger, and OpenAPI.
• Advanced English is required and will be assessed during recruitment.
• Ability to contribute to architectural definitions and technical discussions in complex integration contexts.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary agile teams with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Nice to have

• GCP, Java, or similar certifications.
• Experience with Node.js and NestJS.
• Experience with gRPC, Saga Pattern, Circuit Breaker, observability, and communication between microservices.
