Demand Planning Analyst (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Manage, configure, and refine the statistical forecasting framework in Maestro or similar planning platforms.
• Develop forecasting logic for high-volume, intermittent, and slow-moving demand, reducing bias and improving service levels.
• Produce regular global forecasts for assigned product categories and incorporate historical sales, product introductions, end-of-life plans, and market insights.
• Monitor forecast accuracy metrics such as MAPE and Bias and continuously improve model performance.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance, Sourcing, and Order Management within the S&OP process.
• Support product segmentation updates, including ABC/XYZ analysis based on sales volume and demand variability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain, including hands-on demand planning experience.
• Experience with advanced statistical forecasting tools and planning platforms; Maestro or similar Advanced Planning Systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of forecasting methods such as Exponential Smoothing, Croston’s method, and regression models.
• Strong data manipulation and visualization skills using SQL, Python or R, and Power BI or Tableau.
• Ability to communicate complex statistical results and model adjustments to non-technical stakeholders.
