TL;DR
Material Supply Chain Technical Analyst (Supply Chain Analytics): Analyzing supply chain data and developing data-driven solutions, dashboards, and visualizations to optimize operations across manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and operations with an accent on business intelligence, data management, and process scalability. Focus on interpreting complex data models, troubleshooting supply chain issues, and improving end-to-end efficiency through SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
Location: On-site in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do
- Analyze supply chain data with business ligence tools to identify trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
- Design and implement data-driven solutions that improve supply chain efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, operations, and procurement teams on end-to-end supply chain strategy.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and complex data models for stakeholders.
- Apply data management practices to maintain data integrity and accuracy across complex datasets.
- Troubleshoot supply chain issues and support continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, 3 years with a master’s degree, or no experience with a PhD.
- Proficiency in business data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or R for data management and analysis.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, optimization techniques, and business ligence solutions.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and solve complex problems.
Nice to have
- Master’s or PhD in a related field.
- Experience in a global supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in supply chain and data analytics.
