Credit Controller - Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) (Finance)

Location: Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Candidates must be available to work in Dubai, hold valid UAE work authorization, and have their own resident visa.

What you will do

• Maintain customer billing accounts, accounts receivable files, receipts, cash records, and bank deposits.
• Follow up on payments, allocate collections, dispatch invoices, reconcile accounts, and process adjustments.
• Prepare and monitor monthly collection cash forecasts and targets.
• Monitor customer accounts, payment patterns, credit limits, non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
• Perform credit checks, propose actions to prevent indebtedness, and recommend bad-debt provisions or write-offs where appropriate.
• Investigate customer queries, communicate through phone and email, improve credit-control procedures, and pursue outstanding debts to resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, collections, or a similar finance role.
• Experience in a multinational and multicultural environment.
• SAP experience and advanced knowledge of finance software, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Fluent English, valid UAE work authorization, availability to work in Dubai, and own resident visa are required.
