What you will do
- Interpret data and analyze results using queries and statistical techniques.
- Create reusable data querying, transformation, and visualization processes using Excel, SQL, BigQuery, Python, R, and other big data tools.
- Develop analytical reports and visualize large, complex datasets in dashboards.
- Present insights to support fact-based business decisions.
- Identify and define business process improvement opportunities based on data.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Expert-level SQL skills and the ability to write advanced database queries.
- Ability to identify key trends quickly and conduct in-depth data analysis.
- Experience working with datasets containing millions of rows and creating complex visualizations in live dashboard environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively and deliver results under pressure.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, R, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Jupyter, Hive, or BigQuery ML.
