Principal Program Manager (AI Transformation)

Location: United States - Washington - Seattle

Salary: $231,000–$323,500 annual total cash range, with potential pay up to $369,500

What you will do

• Lead complex, multi-year enterprise transformation programs and portfolios across products, platforms, functions, and regions.
• Align senior technology, product, data, operations, and business leaders, resolving conflicts and managing dependencies.
• Establish governance, operating rhythms, decision forums, roadmaps, and measurement systems for predictable execution.
• Design and execute culture-change strategies that build AI fluency, responsible experimentation, psychological safety, and sustained adoption.
• Define metrics and evidence-based narratives covering capability, adoption, behavior change, delivery health, and business impact.
• Build reusable transformation playbooks, operating models, tooling, responsible AI workflows, and communities of practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation, change, or technology program portfolios in large, matrixed organizations.
• Experience influencing across organizations, navigating ambiguity, resolving complex conflicts, and building alignment without formal authority.
• Experience creating enterprise governance, delivery mechanisms, measurement frameworks, and operating models.
• Strong strategic communication, facilitation, storytelling, executive presence, active listening, and relationship-building skills.
• Technical fluency across systems, APIs, data flows, platform modernization, integration patterns, reliability, and operational resilience, plus experience using data, analytics, or AI-enabled tools.

Nice to have

• Experience leading global AI adoption, digital transformation, operating-model change, or workforce and culture transformation.
• Experience establishing responsible AI guardrails, adoption measurement, capability assessments, learning ecosystems, or champion networks.
• Thought leadership in transformation, change management, technical program management, organizational culture, responsible AI, or data-driven execution.
