HCC Risk Adjustment Coding Auditor (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Audit coded medical charts according to client-specific guidelines.
• Switch between different client guideline sets with minimal difficulty.
• Maintain a 95% average quality score at the diagnosis level.
• Respond to rebuttals submitted by coders and auditors.
• Participate in weekly coding project review meetings and complete additional tasks assigned by the quality supervisor.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of HCC coding experience and 2 years of HCC auditing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, medical terminology, medical abbreviations, pharmacology, and disease processes.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• AHIMA certification such as RHIA, RHIT, or CCS, or AAPC certification such as CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC, or CRC.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment, meet deadlines, follow instructions, and maintain high quality.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States without employment sponsorship. Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and computer software and hardware skills are required.
