TL;DR
Analog/Mixed-Signal Engineer (CMOS): Accelerating hardware development through analog and mixed-signal circuit design, layout, simulation, validation, and lab testing with an accent on high-speed circuits, CMOS device behavior, noise, mismatch, linearity, and reliability. Focus on designing analog blocks, PLLs, oscillators, data converters, and I/O interfaces, supporting tape-out verification, and solving complex low-power and low-noise challenges.

Location: Boston, United States; on-site

Salary: $200,000–$325,000 per year, plus equity; compensation varies with experience.

Company

hirify.global is accelerating hardware development through advanced analog and mixed-signal engineering.

What you will do

  • Design analog blocks including comparators, op-amps, references, bias generators, LDO regulators, filters, switched-capacitor circuits, and data converters.
  • Design and lay out high-speed analog circuits such as frequency dividers, oscillators, and PLLs.
  • Develop modern CMOS circuits with attention to noise, mismatch, linearity, stability, power, and reliability.
  • Run Cadence simulations including PEX, Monte Carlo, and corner analysis.
  • Support tape-out verification through DRC, ERC, and LVS checks.
  • Perform pre-silicon validation, top-level mixed-signal simulations, and laboratory testing with signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant analog or mixed-signal engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of CMOS device characteristics, analog mixed-signal concepts, and layout effects including electromigration.
  • Experience designing and laying out high-speed analog circuits and modern CMOS technology.
  • Proficiency in Cadence simulation, pre-silicon validation, and tape-out verification.
  • Experience with laboratory testing of mixed-signal circuits and electronic measurement equipment.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C, plus experience with I/O design, ESD, and latch-up.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time, on-site role based in Boston.
  • Equity compensation is offered in addition to salary.
