CMP Customer Engineer I Senior

What you will do

• Collaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers to install, maintain, and upgrade customer equipment.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot technical issues with guidance.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Communicate directly with customers and coordinate service activities.
• Work in cleanroom environments and meet onsite safety, environmental, and personal protective equipment requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet all onsite requirements.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of customer or field service experience in a related technical field.
• Associate degree in electronics or engineering technologies.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters.
