Fundraising Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's (Fundraising)

Location: Remote, but must reside in Columbus or Macon, Georgia. Travel up to 60% within the assigned territory is required, including occasional overnight or air travel. Some evening and weekend work is required.

Salary: $63,000–$65,000 annually. Performance-based incentive opportunity of up to $13,000.

What you will do

• Implement and manage multiple Walk to End Alzheimer’s peer-to-peer fundraising events annually.
• Build relationships with corporate leaders, community partners, sponsors, event teams, and participants.
• Recruit, train, coach, and empower volunteer committees to apply fundraising best practices.
• Drive revenue, participation, and brand awareness through team and individual fundraising, corporate solicitation, and community partnerships.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, milestones, and performance data to support year-over-year growth.
• Create an inclusive and collaborative environment for volunteers and community partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience recruiting and mobilizing volunteers or successfully meeting sales targets.
• Experience developing corporate relationships and partnerships and achieving revenue or participation goals.
• Ability to manage large numbers of volunteers, work with diverse communities, and collaborate in a matrixed organization.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, good driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds and proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media; ability to learn Luminate/Convio software.
