AI Engineer (Post-training)

Location: Remote (NAMER, APJ, EMEA)

Salary: $135,000 – $300,000

What you will do

• Build environments and verifiers for model training.
• Own the end-to-end synthetic data pipeline, including generation and quality gates.
• Run training experiments and analyze model performance.
• Develop evaluation frameworks for model releases.
• Adapt open-weight base models for voice and text agent tasks.
• Ship and iterate on models in production environments.

Requirements

• Strong Python engineering skills.
• Experience taking a model from raw data through to production.
• Deep understanding of data quality, diversity, and leakage.
• Experience with GPU-based training and model optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with post-training, fine-tuning, or reinforcement learning (e.g., GRPO).
• Familiarity with frameworks like TRL, verl, or OpenRLHF.
• Experience with fast rollouts (vLLM, SGLang) and multi-GPU training (FSDP).
• Experience training tool-using or multi-turn agents.
• Familiarity with open-weight models like Qwen or Llama.
