M&T Bank provides banking and wealth management services, with this role representing Wilmington Trust in the Southern California market.

What you will do

• Lead and manage assigned wealth management staff across Southern California.
• Develop and manage relationships with wealthy individuals, business owners, families, and their advisors.
• Coordinate the efficient delivery of wealth services and refer requests for additional products to internal specialists.
• Set team sales goals, manage the sales process, and track performance.
• Represent the bank in civic and community activities.
• Maintain risk, regulatory, audit, and internal control standards, escalating issues when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 11 years of related wealth management, investment, trust, or estate planning experience involving complex tax and legal issues.
• At least 4 years of managerial experience.
• Without a degree, a combined minimum of 15 years of higher education and/or work experience is required, including 11 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work with wealth clients, families, advisors, and internal banking teams.

Nice to have

• MBA or JD.
• CFP, CTFA, or similar certification.
