What you will do

• Lead the C-17 Training System cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework program across 16 geographically separated locations.
• Manage RMF documentation, including System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action and Milestones.
• Guide accreditation activities to maintain Authorization to Operate status, including eMASS documentation and ACAS scans.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, security audits, incident response, containment, investigation, and reporting.
• Coordinate secure integration of system updates, patches, hardware, software, and network configurations with engineering and sustainment teams.
• Present security risks and mitigation recommendations to USAF leadership, program stakeholders, auditors, and external partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of cybersecurity experience.
• IAM Level I certification, with IAM Level II preferred, or IAT Level II certification under DoD 8570-01 or DoD 8140.
• Experience with NISPOM, DAAPM, JSIG RMF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, DoD 8500.01, eMASS, and ACAS.
• Must be eligible for a DoD Personal Security Clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to work independently, deliver presentations, work overtime or any shift as required, travel domestically and internationally, and work in operational training environments.
