Deputy Lead, Cyber Security Officer

What you will do

• Maintain the operational security posture of information systems and ensure security policies, standards, and procedures are followed.
• Perform Information Assurance and Computer Network Defense functions, including vulnerability management, audits, certification and accreditation, and detection and response support.
• Lead threat intelligence collection and reporting, event analysis, incident response, and incident case management.
• Organize and schedule 24x7x365 cybersecurity operations and report performance and health metrics to Government leadership.
• Evaluate security solutions and perform vulnerability and risk assessments for systems processing classified information.
• Coordinate cross-functional and cross-agency response activities while coaching junior team members.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience; a master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
• Hold or attain CySA+ or an equivalent IAT Level II certification.
• Experience with classified government networks, cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, cyber threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Experience developing and improving Standard Operating Procedures and reporting operational metrics.
• Availability for 24x7x365 operations and shift work required.

Nice to have

• CCNA Security, CySA+, SSCP, AWS, or other cloud certifications.
