Lead Software Engineer (Secrets Manager & AI Identity)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate secure gateway controls, audited terminal logins, and session recording for the privileged access management product line.
• Design resilient APIs and maintain decoupled service boundaries across the PAM platform and core infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering in an embedded cross-functional group to validate technical solutions.
• Build automated unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites, integration harnesses, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own production reliability, performance, telemetry, on-call participation, and postmortem analysis.
• Maintain architecture specifications, API contracts, and open-source developer documentation.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience, including team lead experience.
• Strong proficiency in AI-led development with C#/.NET, Rust, or TypeScript.
• Experience designing or implementing secure gateway architectures, reverse proxies, and session proxying for SSH, RDP, or HTTPS.
• Understanding of identity and access management, key-rotation protocols, and real-time audit logging systems.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes, automated testing, and SRE/observability tools such as APM, alerting, and telemetry dashboards.
• Familiarity with zero-trust and zero-knowledge architectures, encryption standards, threat modeling, open source, and clear technical documentation.
