Software Engineer II

Location: Remote role based in Birmingham, Alabama, United States

What you will do

• Develop, deploy, modify, and maintain new and existing applications and operating systems.
• Install and configure systems, software, and related hardware.
• Test software and monitor system performance to identify malfunctions and performance issues.
• Analyze and resolve business systems and technical problems.
• Develop strategies to improve system effectiveness and efficiency.
• Create reports and document findings, solutions, and system changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Three years of experience in a related role.
• Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and software debugging.
• Ability to conduct system analysis and develop technology solutions for technical challenges.
• Understanding of software structures, hardware, computing systems, and their integration.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
