Developer Advocate (AI)

Location: On-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 base salary per year, plus bonus and equity

hirify.global is an AI software development platform that autonomously transforms enterprise requirements into production-ready code and aims to automate much of the software development lifecycle.

What you will do

• Create weekly videos, demos, written guides, live demonstrations, podcasts, and tutorials for developers and technical decision-makers.
• Own the content strategy, including audiences, platforms, formats, editorial planning, performance measurement, and iteration.
• Engage with developers across X, Reddit, Discord, livestreams, events, conferences, meetups, and hackathons.
• Build sample repositories, reference implementations, technical guides, and reverse- and forward-engineering examples using hirify.global.
• Run the creator and influencer program, develop community relationships, and bring product feedback and developer needs to internal teams.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Developer Relations, engineering, product, and forward-deployed engineering teams while mentoring teammates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a developer advocate, software engineer, or technical-creative professional.
• Ability to write software, understand development workflows, use AI tools effectively, and communicate credibly with senior engineers.
• Confident, clear, and engaging on screen or in voice-over, including during unscripted and live demonstrations.
• Experience creating technical content, using screen-recording and editing tools such as Loom, Screen Studio, Descript, or Premiere.
• Ownership of a content or community program from planning through execution, with measurable results.
• Ability to work independently, accept feedback, iterate quickly, and operate without a fully established playbook.

• Experience building open-source repositories used by other developers.
• Experience leading hands-on technical training.
• Existing relationships with developers, creators, influencers, or community leaders.
