Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Canada, EST; flexible hybrid or remote work. Office address: 200 R&D, 80 Aberdeen Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Salary: CAD 115,000–140,000 annual base salary, with possible bonus awards.

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and QA to translate business and user requirements and technology constraints into user-centered solutions.
• Create user stories, scenarios, sketches, workflows, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and design specifications for development hand-off.
• Conduct interviews, usability testing, feedback sessions, and design iterations with customers, users, and internal stakeholders.
• Design intuitive, data-rich experiences, including analytics dashboards and workflows for exploring, interpreting, and acting on complex financial data.
• Use and further develop the design system and patterns while maintaining consistency across UX projects and existing features.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and support high-quality production implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a User Experience Designer or Product Designer for enterprise applications, with a track record of shipping customer-facing products.
• Demonstrated experience developing UX/UI artifacts and a portfolio showing sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity comps, and other deliverables across discovery, definition, design, and hand-off.
• Demonstrated experience participating in user research and performing user testing exercises.
• Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions, with good user interface visual design skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, and a solid understanding of accessibility (A11Y) principles and guidelines.
• Fulfill the requirements necessary to obtain and clear a full background check.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analytics, dashboard design, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with accounting and auditing principles or related industry experience.
• Experience using AI-powered design and development tools such as Cursor and Claude.
• Experience in design thinking and workshop facilitation.
