Product Designer (AI/React)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

Salary: United States $105K–$120K annually; Canada CA$140K–CA$160K annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design of product features, including user flows, interactions, visual designs, prototypes, and interface states.
• Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Build coded interactive prototypes and accessible, production-ready front-end components with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React.
• Use AI-powered tools for research, design exploration, prototyping, and front-end development; design AI and agentic experiences that provide user trust, transparency, and control.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to turn validated designs into production-ready features balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
• Contribute to the design system across design files and code, review implemented designs, and maintain visual consistency, usability, and quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in product design, design engineering, or a hybrid design and front-end development role.
• Strong skills in user flows, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping.
• Working proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience in modern frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Familiarity with version control and code review.
• Experience with Figma or similar tools and with using and contributing to design systems and component libraries in both design files and code.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools, including AI coding tools, to support design and development.
• Foundational UX research skills, including usability testing and incorporating feedback into design decisions.
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards, including WCAG, and assistive technology testing.
• A portfolio demonstrating the end-to-end process from research through shipped outcomes, including work built in code.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with Product Managers and Engineers.
