Product Designer (Automotive)

Annual salary: $120,000.00–$140,000.00 CAD

What you will do

• Own the user experience for assigned feature areas from concept through launch.
• Conduct user interviews and usability testing to inform product designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to build consensus.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to align user needs and business goals.
• Work with engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of designs.
• Contribute to and use the design system while championing a user-centered design culture.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as a Product Designer or in a similar role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating the product design process and the ability to solve user problems across a variety of device types and surfaces.
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong bias for action, self-direction, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to drive the design process from start to finish while seeking input and alignment.
• Ability to articulate design decisions and support them with insights and data.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences and consider consistency across the broader system.

Nice to have

• Experience designing B2B or complex enterprise applications.
• Experience using or contributing to design systems.
• Familiarity with wholesale or automotive marketplaces.
