Location: Flexible hybrid schedule; current work authorization in Canada is required. The role is based at 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, then moves to 3 Robert Speck Parkway in Mississauga.
Salary: CAD 105,000–123,000 in total annual cash compensation, including base salary and target bonus.

provides investment portfolios and services, while Fidelity Clearing Canada delivers trade execution, clearing, custody, and back-office support to Canadian brokerage firms.
What you will do
- Partner with Trading, Securities Lending, and Treasury leaders to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate operational risks.
- Lead risk assessments, RCSAs, process walkthroughs, control reviews, risk event analysis, issue management, and remediation tracking.
- Represent Risk Management in business and technology changes, including new products, process enhancements, system implementations, and regulatory initiatives.
- Develop risk reporting, dashboards, scorecards, KRIs, and executive management information packages.
- Analyze risk trends, incidents, and performance indicators to identify emerging issues and process improvement opportunities.
- Provide risk guidance, training, and independent challenge to business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of risk management experience, ideally in securities or banking.
- University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Current authorization to work in Canada is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of CIRO, securities regulations, Canadian financial industry practices, and capital markets products.
- Experience with securities lending, treasury, liquidity, collateral, settlement, clearing, custody, or wealth management operations.
- CFA or FRM designation.
- Experience with risk reporting tools, dashboards, or data analytics solutions.
