Director, Alternate Solutions Group - Foreign Exchange (FX) Trading

Location: On-site full-time in Toronto, Ontario, at 141 Bay, 11th Floor. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead FX trading activities across payment solutions, including pricing, execution, and risk management within approved limits.
• Oversee daily trading performance and make market decisions that support revenue growth and client outcomes.
• Develop and execute trading strategies aligned with business goals and growth priorities.
• Monitor market conditions, business results, and emerging trends to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Partner with sales, product, technology, operations, treasury, risk, compliance, and control teams to bring FX capabilities to market.
• Strengthen governance, reporting, controls, and the end-to-end client experience across cross-border payments and related FX offerings.

Requirements

• Degree in business, finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• Significant experience in foreign exchange trading, sales and trading, or capital markets.
• Strong understanding of market structure, pricing, risk management, and client-driven execution.
• Ability to interpret market, business, and trading performance data and communicate insights that drive action.
• Proficiency with SQL and understanding of artificial intelligence.
• Ability to work on-site full-time in Toronto and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
