Audit Senior Associate (Audit)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site. Travel may be required, up to 25%.

Salary: $92,000–$102,000 base salary per year.

What you will do

• Listen to clients, understand their operations, objectives, processes, and risks, and communicate engagement expectations and relevant accounting or regulatory developments.
• Plan, execute, and complete financial statement audits while managing budgets and serving in an in-charge role when needed.
• Design audit procedures using audit technology and innovation tools, research accounting and auditing matters, and document conclusions.
• Train, supervise, and provide feedback to audit associates and interns.
• Build client and engagement-team relationships and represent hirify.global at recruiting and professional networking events.
• Develop technical and professional skills through formal training, mentorship, and collaboration with firm leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, mathematics, or a related discipline.
• At least two years of progressive public accounting experience, including in-charge auditing.
• Meet the education requirements for CPA certification in the state of employment.
• Strong analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including proficiency in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities, collaborate effectively, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Ability to travel as needed, with travel expectations of up to 25%.
