Lead Developer (AWS)

Location: Onsite at FN Tower in Omaha, United States

Salary: $107,552–$182,838 base pay per year

What you will do

• Lead application design, including application and network diagrams.
• Architect and lead implementation of AWS-based, serverless, event-driven, and service-oriented solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, REST integrations, and data pipelines.
• Plan initiatives, estimate and break down work, identify dependencies, and contribute to application roadmaps.
• Mentor developers, lead code reviews, and establish standards for maintainability, security, and performance.
• Support production issue resolution, vulnerability remediation, change management, releases, post-release testing, and on-call support.

Requirements

• Unrestricted United States work authorization is required; future sponsorship is not available.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, data modeling, advanced SQL, and data transformation.
• Experience with API development, microservices, REST architecture, contract-first API development, and enterprise data architecture.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch, plus familiarity with MuleSoft and Flex Gateway.
• Knowledge of test-driven development, automated testing frameworks, Git branching strategies, application security, encryption, and data in flight.
