Specialist, Tax & Cost Basis Operations (Financial Services)

Location: Onsite in Westlake, Texas or Omaha, Nebraska

Salary: USD $29.33–$34.62 per hour, plus bonus or incentive opportunities

hirify.global provides financial services and operates Cost Basis Operations within its Custody & Asset Services division.

What you will do

• Research multiple systems to verify transaction information.
• Research and process cost basis adjustments for retail and advisor services clients.
• Process corrections in GainsKeeper, the cost basis system.
• Reconcile and maintain cost basis processes across rotating operational functions.
• Analyze large data sets to identify issues and determine upstream and downstream impacts.
• Communicate issues effectively and work collaboratively with peers and management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Operations.
• Intermediate skills with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong analytical, data entry, decision-making, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures, work under pressure, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience with macro-based tools, troubleshooting, tax and cost basis processes, and financial markets is preferred.
• BA or BS and Series 7/63 are preferred.
