Sr. DevSecOps Engineer II

Location: Onsite in Reston, Virginia, United States. An active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph is required.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classified environments in collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Build CI/CD pipelines from scratch using GitLab CI and Jenkins, integrating security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
• Create and maintain CloudFormation-based infrastructure as code for highly available, secure DevSecOps tooling across AWS GovCloud, C2S, and TC2S.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting, log analysis, root cause analysis, and mitigation planning for complex service issues.
• Provide security guidance on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO support.
• Build secure Docker and OpenShift solutions, remediate Prisma Cloud findings, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• 7+ years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role, focused on infrastructure automation, scalability, and reliability.
• Expert experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, containerization, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Prisma Cloud.
• Strong Python or Bash scripting experience in Linux environments such as RHEL or Oracle Linux.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Expert AWS experience, STIG/SRG implementation, security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, and OpenSCAP, and a minimum IAT Level 2 certification.
