Manufacturing Equipment Engineer (ALD/Vacuum)

Salary: $110,500–$152,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead preventive maintenance for process equipment and vacuum chambers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system-level failures.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and investigate root causes using Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
• Recommend tooling, fixtures, and Design for Excellence improvements to increase process efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain manufacturing methods and processes, coordinate product improvements and new-product releases, and manage manufacturing engineering projects.
• Analyze production and test data, improve equipment and processes, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Conceptual knowledge and technical experience for solving everyday manufacturing problems.
• Ability to work in clean-room environments and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, work in tight spaces, bend, kneel, reach, lift, distinguish colors, and use hand and power tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with ALD and vacuum process equipment.
• Experience with laser marking equipment and processes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and consensus-building skills.
