DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Remote within the United States, with occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility; listed locations are Belcamp, Maryland, and Lorton, Virginia.

Salary: $77,600–$176,000 annualized USD.

What you will do

• Design, test, and program critical applications and cloud-native solutions.
• Build software delivery pipelines from requirements through production testing.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows for medium and large software teams.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting processes using cloud resources and DevOps platforms.
• Collaborate with application development teams across the software development lifecycle to solve complex technical problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, DevOps and automation platforms, containerization technologies, and CI/CD workflow design.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS or Azure and with UNIX or Linux development and Bash scripting.
• Experience building enterprise cloud-native solutions and automation for application build and testing.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of DevOps experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
• Experience creating and improving continuous deployment tools.
• Existing Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree.
