Senior Data Analyst (AI/Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States or Canada

What you will do

• Build and maintain unified reporting across CRM, accounting, invoicing, operational databases, and other business systems.
• Develop reliable data pipelines, shared metric definitions, dashboards, and reporting cadences with Data Engineering.
• Extend revenue, billing, retention, cohort, product usage, and customer health reporting for cross-functional teams.
• Query MongoDB Atlas and Redshift to analyze API usage, feature adoption, customer engagement, and retention.
• Own recurring business reviews, board reporting, OKR tracking, and analytical partnership with company leaders.
• Build AI-powered reporting agents, anomaly detection, automated summaries, and reusable internal analytics workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data or business analytics, analytics engineering, or a similar cross-functional analytics role.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse, ideally Redshift.
• Experience with BI or visualization tools such as ThoughtSpot, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Hex, or Power BI.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to automate analysis, build agents, or accelerate reporting workflows.
• Experience building data models or semantic layers used consistently by multiple teams.
• Ability to reconcile data across CRM, billing, product, support, and operational systems and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience querying MongoDB or other NoSQL document databases using aggregation frameworks.
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or usage- and subscription-based businesses.
• Python and SQL literacy for reviewing, debugging, and validating AI-generated automation code.
• Experience evaluating, selecting, or migrating BI and analytics tools.
