Compliance Officer - Onboarding Corporate (Fintech)

What you will do

• Analyze corporate client account-opening requests from AML/CTF, sanctions, and tax compliance perspectives.
• Review complex structures involving active and passive companies, trusts, collective investment schemes, financial institutions, and external asset managers.
• Draft internal memorandums, particularly for high-risk clients.
• Optimize internal processes and guidelines and contribute to procedure development.
• Participate in regulatory projects and support frontline teams, foreign group entities, and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in law, economics, or relevant banking-sector experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in AML/CTF compliance within a financial institution, focused on complex corporate structures.
• Strong knowledge of trusts and collective investment schemes.
• Solid knowledge of AMLA, AMLO-FINMA, and CDB 20; familiarity with FinSA, FinIA, and CISA is beneficial.
• Very good written and spoken French and English.
• Strong analytical, organizational, writing, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory or AML/CTF audits for Swiss financial institutions or Big Four firms.
• Knowledge of additional languages.
