Global Onsite Lab Project Manager (Mining & Minerals)

Location: Perth Airport, Western Australia, Australia; onsite work with some international travel required

What you will do

• Review, assess, and create financial models for new and existing onsite laboratory opportunities.
• Prepare or support technical proposals and tender submissions.
• Consult with clients and hirify.global regional and country teams to define requirements, costs, schedules, and RFP information.
• Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of new laboratory designs, builds, renovations, and expansions.
• Track laboratory equipment purchasing and ensure delivery according to global standards and project schedules.
• Manage project coordination with local operating teams and support technical and operational sign-off.

Requirements

• University degree in science or engineering, preferably in geosciences such as geology, mining, mineralogy, environmental mineralogy, or soil science.
• Technical experience in a geosciences-related profession, with some business or personnel management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of the mining and minerals industry.
• Experience managing teams and coordinating multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management, organization, communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English; extended or irregular hours may be required due to global team involvement.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in languages besides English, such as French, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic.
