Associate Game Developer (Tabletop Games)

Location: Hybrid in Everett, Washington, US; up to 10% travel may be required, sometimes with short notice.

Base salary: $60,000 annually

What you will do

• Assist Game Developers in creating and tuning rules for new and established tabletop miniatures and board game systems.
• Review game content to ensure products are engaging, thematically appropriate, aligned with licensed intellectual property, and consistent with the project vision.
• Track the status and progress of assigned projects while managing deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Lay out final rules into print files in collaboration with Graphic Design.
• Coordinate playtesting, including establishing and maintaining external playtest groups.
• Collaborate with Development, Game Production, Marketing, writers, editors, artists, playtesters, and other internal teams.

Requirements

• Experience with tabletop miniatures games produced by Atomic Mass Games and other publishers.
• Excellent written, verbal, and creative communication skills.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software, including MS Word, MS Excel, iWork Pages, and iWork Numbers.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign.
• Strong organization, self-directed time management, prioritization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and individuals.
