Distribution Team Lead - 1st Shift Picking - Romeoville, IL

Location: Onsite in Romeoville, Illinois, United States. Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; overtime and weekends may be required.

Salary: $26.25 USD per hour, plus eligibility for bonus pay.

What you will do

• Assign and coordinate picking, moving, dropping, and other distribution work to support daily customer demand.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts, problem-solving teams, and kaizen events for lean operations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to resolve schedule and workflow issues.
• Manage orders and communicate required changes to the Distribution Area Manager and partner departments.
• Maintain KPIs, visual management tools, standard work, and critical-to-quality controls.
• Train and cross-train associates, provide performance feedback, and implement countermeasures for distribution flow failures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in a distribution or production environment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
• Computer skills for using and maintaining distribution software systems.
• Ability to work with manual and/or powered equipment where required.
