Intelligence Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Research current and emerging physical security, cybersecurity, geopolitical, reputation, and compliance threats.
• Use hirify.global technology and internet sources to collect, authenticate, validate, and document relevant information.
• Produce security alerts, intelligence reports, trend summaries, strategic assessments, and recurring client deliverables.
• Conduct client briefings and support customer care, reporting, and other production activities.
• Support collection enhancement through collaboration with Collection Management and 24x7 support teams.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations and threat monitoring during periods of increased risk, including outside core business hours when needed.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in open-source research, social media research, investigations, analysis, or a related field.
• Ability to connect information from multiple sources, assess credibility and relevance, and produce clear, concise, timely analytical products.
• Experience writing short- and long-form reports using BLUF or similar models.
• Experience researching social media platforms, blogs, IRC, deep/dark web sources, and message boards.
• Proficiency with at least one online investigative tool, such as Whois, Ping, or Traceroute, and with Google Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide briefings and presentations independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Written and spoken proficiency in Russian, Mandarin, Arabic, Korean, Spanish, German, or Farsi.
• Public- or private-sector experience in security, risk, due diligence, research, investigations, or consulting.
• Knowledge of IPv4, IPv6, DNS records, email headers, P2P, cybercrime, online fraud, physical security, hacktivism, reputation risk, travel security, or geopolitical issues.
• Bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework and experience briefing senior leaders.
