Senior Developer (.NET)

Location: On-site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, United States; some overnight travel may be required.

What you will do

• Lead complex development projects involving multiple systems and coordinate development teams.
• Design, develop, modify, test, document, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Define technical specifications, analyze business requirements, and advise management on solution options.
• Act as a subject matter specialist for assigned applications and help define user experiences.
• Prepare project documentation and provide development effort estimates to Business Analysts and Project Managers.
• Coach junior Software Developers on coding standards, documentation, and business processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10 years of programming experience.
• Strong proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft Visual Studio, and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with unit testing, quality assurance, problem-solving, analysis, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, customer service, collaboration, and project execution skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SharePoint, Business Intelligence, and data warehousing or modeling.
• Experience with Great Plains Dynamics, IBM Maximo, and financial processing.
• Project Management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
