Senior Test Engineer (Python)

Location: Remote within the United States. Candidates must be based in the United States and authorized to work without sponsorship.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Embed testing and quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Define and implement automated and manual testing strategies for enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain automated front-end, backend, and API test frameworks using Python, Playwright, Cypress, and Chai.
• Perform functional, non-functional, performance, load, and security testing.
• Integrate test processes into CI/CD pipelines and optimize them for scalability, speed, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams, technical leaders, and clients to support project execution and delivery.

Requirements

• At least six years of commercial experience at a Senior Test Engineer level.
• Experience delivering in an agile environment and developing automation frameworks for scalable software.
• Deep knowledge of Python and test automation frameworks, ideally Playwright.
• Experience with performance and load testing, databases, cloud environments, and Git.
• Experience creating test strategies for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Professional proficiency in English and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
