Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Analyze advanced cyber actors, capabilities, techniques, and threat campaigns.
• Design and implement endpoint protection, malware detection and mitigation, auditing, and fleet management solutions.
• Develop security, manageability, and transparency improvements while preserving privacy and ease of use.
• Coordinate cross-functional security technologies and initiatives across hirify.global.
• Drive adoption of security technologies across the organization.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, marketing, and support teams to improve product security.

Requirements

• Understanding of the threat intelligence cycle and cyber operations.
• Strong knowledge of endpoint and server detection engineering.
• Experience with OS security and using endpoint security telemetry to detect malware.
• Ability to apply security research to practical security outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience analyzing complex threat actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Ability to discuss risk assessments with technical and business audiences.
• Strong partnership skills and the ability to deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
• Ability to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
