Data & Analytics Developer - Mat cover (Power BI)

Location: UK, England, United Kingdom. Candidates must demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK and be able to travel throughout the UK if required.

What you will do

• Contribute to data discovery and design data models for analytical projects.
• Create and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and dataflows using DAX, Power Query, and M Query.
• Develop automated workflows with Power Automate to streamline business processes.
• Build and deploy custom business applications with Power Apps.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions.
• Document and optimize analytical reporting delivery while ensuring reporting assets are compliant and secure.

Requirements

• Solid Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query, M Query, and data modelling.
• Proficiency in Power Apps and Power Automate development.
• Experience creating reports and dashboards, with knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint and Teams.
• Strong data analytics interest, workflow automation skills, critical thinking, diligence, and organizational ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with end users and technical staff.
• Pre-existing UK right to work and travel is required; documentary evidence will be requested.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Salesforce, SAP ECC Business Warehouse, or Dynamics CRM.
• Knowledge of Python, T-SQL, and Excel scripting.
• Exposure to AI concepts and commitment to learning new technologies.
