Consultant Data Engineer (Cloud/AI): Building cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, server-side Python tools, and machine learning services for client projects and Sia AI solutions with an accent on DevOps, container orchestration, and secure application deployment. Focus on designing multi-cloud architectures, automating CI/CD and infrastructure, and supporting the lifecycle of data science applications.

What you will do
- Design and manage cloud architectures across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including storage, compute, cost optimization, role management, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including clusters for Data Science workloads.
- Develop server-side Python tools for bulk data processing, REST APIs, authentication, and related services.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and support deployment of Data Science projects for clients.
- Build ETL scripts and data pipelines in Big Data environments.
- Implement infrastructure and services that support Machine Learning model development and provision.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree with a strong quantitative component, such as Econometrics, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Quantitative Finance.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
- Good Python skills, a solid foundation in other programming languages, and familiarity with SQL databases; PostgreSQL is preferred.
- Experience or strong interest in cloud services, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps practices.
- Experience implementing application security measures such as certificate management, HTTPS, OAuth2 authentication, and credential management.
- Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills are required. A work permit cannot be provided.
Nice to have
- Experience with MongoDB, GitLab-CE, Terraform, or one of GCP, AWS, and Azure.
