Senior Data Engineer

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions using hirify.global Data Fusion.
• Drive integrations, data extraction, data modeling, and analysis with data connectors, SQL, Python, Java, and REST APIs.
• Create custom data models for data discovery, mapping, and data cleansing.
• Collaborate with data scientists, project managers, solution architects, Engineering, and Product Management on customer deliveries and product priorities.
• Conduct code reviews, apply engineering best practices, and support customers and partners with hirify.global products.
• Contribute to hirify.global's official tools and SDKs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a similar field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in a customer-facing, data-intensive role.
• Experience delivering production-grade data pipelines with Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed computing such as Kubernetes and managed cloud services such as GCP or Azure.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, deployment environments, and a DevOps mindset.
• Ability to work independently, investigate and solve problems, and collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data sources in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries.
• Relevant domain experience in industrial digitalization.
