Senior Architectural Documenter / Architect (ArchiCAD)

Location: Onsite in Ortigas, Alabang, Pampanga, or Cebu, Philippines; work schedule is 7:00 AM–4:00 PM PHT, aligned with 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Sydney time.

What you will do

• Prepare comprehensive, fully resolved architectural construction documentation packages with minimal supervision.
• Develop detailed drawing sets for residential and commercial projects, translating design concepts into technically accurate documentation.
• Detail foundations, floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, openings, stairs, joinery, and lighting.
• Coordinate architectural and interior detailing with designers and project coordinators.
• Produce and maintain accurate 3D models and documentation in ArchiCAD.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability, and independently resolve documentation issues.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in architecture and/or architectural documentation, with a strong residential background.
• Demonstrated experience working on Australian projects and preparing comprehensive construction drawing sets.
• Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD for both 3D modelling and documentation; ArchiCAD 27 or later is highly desirable.
• Strong construction and interior detailing skills, including practical solutions for foundations, floors, walls, ceilings, roofs, openings, stairs, joinery, and lighting.
• Working knowledge of the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards; Australian approval pathway experience is highly desirable.
• Clear written and spoken English, ability to work onsite in the listed Philippine locations, and availability during Sydney working hours are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DA, CDC, and CC approval pathways.
• Experience with Class 2 and Class 3 buildings.
• Knowledge of Australian waterproofing and fire compliance detailing.
• Experience with ArchiCAD 27 or later.
