Buyer - Marine

Location: Headquarters in Katy, Texas, United States; regular in-office attendance required. Up to 15% domestic and international travel is required.

What you will do

• Drive sales, manage inventory, and support marine category performance.
• Lead category management processes and analyze data to align decisions with financial goals.
• Guide product lifecycles and develop category strategies based on market dynamics.
• Negotiate vendor terms and build strong supplier relationships.
• Coordinate with merchandising, eCommerce, sourcing, planning, Assistant Buyers, and cross-functional category teams.
• Support assortment, promotions, process improvement, and hands-on business execution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, data analysis, and interpretation skills.
• Experience managing multiple categories in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience mentoring or coaching others and developing vendor relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
