Software Development Engineer in Test II - Contractor

What you will do

• Review product requirements and design documents, then create testing strategies for hirify.global features.
• Plan and execute UI testing activities, including test plans and test cases for new features.
• Build, maintain, and improve test automation frameworks and automation infrastructure.
• Develop methodologies for continuous build and deployment, automated testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Manage Jenkins jobs, report statuses, support production deployments, and assist after release.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure automated test coverage, while reporting and verifying defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge.
• Experience building and executing test plans and test cases.
• Experience writing automated tests in Python, JavaScript, or another programming language.
• Understanding of test automation frameworks such as pytest.
• Experience configuring continuous integration test pipelines; Jenkins experience is preferred.
• Practical experience with Git, Jenkins, Appium, test case management systems, JIRA, QTest, or QMetry, plus Agile methodologies and strong analytical skills.
