Senior Technical Manager (Automotive EMC)

What you will do

• Guide test engineers in automotive component EMC testing according to ISO 11452, CISPR 25, ISO 7637, ISO 10605, and major OEM standards.
• Coach EMC test engineers, standardize testing operations, and improve laboratory service efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate with certification, quality, and hardware testing teams to optimize laboratory operations.
• Resolve customer technical complaints and testing disputes through root-cause analysis and closed-loop solutions.
• Review, evaluate, and approve EMC test plans, raw data records, and formal reports.
• Support failed-sample rectification by identifying interference causes and defining shielding, filtering, grounding, and retest solutions.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of automotive EMC testing, report review, and failure rectification experience in a third-party testing laboratory, including at least 3 years in third-party laboratory management.
• Experience supporting OEM EMC rectification projects, pre-compliance testing, and E4 automotive certification.
• Bachelor's degree or above in electronic engineering, electromagnetic fields, automation, vehicle electronics, or a related discipline.
• Authorized signatory qualification for automotive EMC testing under CNAS, CMA, or A2LA.
• Expertise in radiated and conducted emissions, ESD, transient pulses, BCI immunity testing, troubleshooting, and ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory quality systems.
• Strong oral and written English is required for report writing, standards interpretation, and customer technical communication.
