Electrical Startup Engineer (Pharma)

Location: Onsite at a project site near Zebulon, North Carolina, United States

What you will do

• Support startup and operational readiness activities for drug substance manufacturing systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams during commissioning and startup.
• Participate in system walkdowns and resolve punch-list items.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues during startup and initial production operations.
• Coordinate with Automation, CQV, vendors, Operations, and Maintenance.
• Support system turnover, startup documentation, and issue tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• Previous startup or commissioning experience in life sciences is strongly preferred.
• Excellent electrical troubleshooting and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite.
• Experience with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences manufacturing; field engineering; electrical power distribution; MCCs; VFDs; low-voltage electrical systems; or GMP environments.
