What you will do

• Run the day-to-day compliance program end to end across SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP Moderate equivalency including continuous evidence collection and audit readiness.
• Own and maintain the policy and procedure set, ensuring documentation keeps pace with controls as the program grows.
• Manage recurring control operations, access reviews, and evidence refreshes, coordinating with system owners and employees to meet deadlines.
• Drive audit and assessment cycles with external auditors, managing findings and tracking remediation to closure.
• Integrate new sites and teams into the compliance program, mapping systems to existing controls to maintain consistent coverage.

Requirements

• Experience operating controls and pulling evidence through real audits for at least one major framework (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, or FedRAMP).
• Ownership of compliance documentation, policies, procedures, and control narratives with ability to keep them current.
• Experience defending controls with auditors and closing findings independently.
• Ability to coordinate evidence collection and adherence across engineers and system owners without managerial oversight.
• Proactive monitoring of controls to catch stale or expired items before audits.
• Skill in mapping control requirements to exact evidence artifacts across overlapping frameworks.

Nice to have

• FedRAMP Moderate equivalency or NIST 800-53 evidence work experience.
• Experience with GRC platforms such as Vanta or comparable continuous-compliance tooling.
• Familiarity with cloud, GPU, or data center environments.
• Experience mapping controls across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST in parallel.
