Production Technician I - Kiefel (3:00pm - 11:00pm)

Location: Marion, North Carolina, United States; onsite, 3:00pm–11:00pm shift

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and adjust Kiefel machines using HMI controls and manual adjustments.
• Load production materials and perform material changeovers as assigned.
• Inspect finished bags, conduct scheduled quality checks, disposition products, and stop production when necessary.
• Identify and correct or escalate machine inefficiencies, mechanical issues, and safety concerns.
• Document production information in manufacturing logs and the POMS system, and test, inspect, and package inter-plant shipping orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles and follow SOPs and cGMP requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of production technician or manufacturing experience, including preventive maintenance and machine troubleshooting.
• Basic written and oral English communication skills are required.
• Ability to understand safety and quality instructions, read work instructions and drawings, and perform basic mathematics.
• Proficiency with calculators, measurement tools, and basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand or walk continuously during the shift.
