Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst

Location: Remote from the United States, based in McLean, Virginia; occasional in-person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility may be required.

Salary: $55,200–$126,000 annualized USD

What you will do

• Develop, update, and maintain security documentation required for system authorization.
• Prepare Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages with ISSOs, engineers, and program leadership.
• Assess security controls, manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and support continuous monitoring.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory documentation.
• Support cybersecurity programs across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• Coordinate formal documentation addressing cybersecurity risks and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity policies and communication standards for security and program documentation.
• 2+ years of experience conducting quality assurance assessments for cybersecurity programs.
• Ability to work with technical teams and senior stakeholders and co-author formal documentation.
• Ability to create templates and maintain security documentation across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work remotely from the United States and occasionally work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

Nice to have

• Experience developing standard operating procedures and risk management documentation.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity programs for federal agencies.
• Knowledge of NIST standards and POA&M management.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree.
