Solutions Engineer (Geospatial)

What you will do

• Lead discovery engagements with customers and prospects to understand workflows, data ecosystems, and business challenges.
• Shape solution architecture and client strategy while building relationships with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Design and deliver tailored, scenario-based demonstrations of imagery, 3D, AI, API, offline, and custom application solutions.
• Support customer integration, onboarding, adoption, and expansion through hands-on technical guidance.
• Represent customer feedback, bugs, and feature gaps to Product and Engineering, and support Sales Enablement training.
• Coordinate custom aerial flights and offline products with Survey Operations, while contributing to industry content and mentoring junior Solutions Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with geospatial exposure.
• 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role combining technical depth with business acumen.
• Proven pre-sales experience influencing technical buying decisions and driving customer success.
• Domain expertise in engineering, construction, property, or geospatial sectors.
• Advanced proficiency with APIs, programming—especially Python—and custom web GIS application development.
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS or QGIS, understanding of AI and machine learning in geospatial analysis, and strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with imagery analysis, photogrammetry, or remote sensing.
